Alert: Addition of ARKLOW ROSE
Posted by Forth & Clyde Control on 21-09-2025 13:13
As ARKLOW ROSE is a recent build (2024) and will appear later today in the North Channel (implementation of this sea-channel feature expected on this site also later today), her photo and details have been posted here.
The North Channel viewer will be a simple illustrated 'parade' of vessels, offering a wider glimpse of the shipping world as vessels not only enter it for the Clyde and Belfast, but all ports in the western British Isle and more southerly Irish ports.
Also of note is it is a crucial lane for shipping we would never see in our home ports and gives an opportunity to observe the variety of ships and destinations this relatively short channel affords. All ships about to enter it are hand-curated and wherever possible, illustrated.
